I have been doing a LOT of cookies lately. I got my first real order about a month or so ago and because of that I finally had a good excuse to buy a Kopycake! The best purchase ever! For me at least :) The order was from a girl Brian works with to do mermaids for her daughters birthday. She had an invitation and a picture of a mermaid cookie she liked that she found online and I just tried to recreate that and adapt a tiny bit to her daughters birthday invitation. This is what I ended up with. I did 35 of them - it was a lot of work :) But a really good learning experience. I'm geting better every time!
Then.... I a couple weeks later the same "client" (Brian and I kind of joke about this because she in my ONLY "client") she asked me to do cookies for a girl baby shower. Just simple light pink baby feet and onesies - but I had to do 75! Thank heavens they were simple.
