Well it's Saturday.... and i have so much to do that i don't even know where to start. i also don't have any energy or drive to start in the first place. i think my belly just had a growth spurt again because I'm huge i swear. i already was too lazy and sore this morning to get out of bed to go to the primary activity. seriously - who wants to voluntarily go to one of those anyway? yep I'm a bad person and I'm not fulfilling my calling well enough - my husband already rubbed that in today. so now i need to do 50's housewife stuff. tomorrow is Sunday which means that there is going to be a "Brown Survival Family Night" (BSFN). These things last forever and they are EVERY Sunday night (which is pretty overwhelming for me... i miss my lazy Sunday nights of sitting around my house in my pajamas just watching TV or something). BSFN is Brian's family all get together and talk about what they will do if a disaster strikes and yadi yadi yada. I'll start blogging more about them because sometimes there is interesting stuff that other prepared awareness people might like. This week's BSFN is at my house. Since these things always last so long it has morphed into dinner, family night and dessert. SO I need to clean my house, go shopping, and start making dinner and dessert for tomorrow. Oh crap.... I just remembered I have the lesson too - the spiritual lesson. There is now always the practical "how are we going to survive" lesson and a spiritual lesson. Brian has the other one and it's going to be on first aid. My plan is to make 2 kinds of soups - since soup is what I'm good at I get less stressed cooking it. I'm going to make Cheese Soup and homemade Chicken Noodle Soup. And then I'll have chocolate chip pazookie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Everything you can eat in a paper bowl and with a plastic spoon - less clean up that way :) I'll keep you updated with how it goes.... plus blogging gives me a good reason to stop cleaning and stuff :)
chore #1: groecery shopping. this includes going to COSTCO (on a saturday - yikes!) and the grocery store. DONE :) and amazingly I stayed within my budget.
chore#2: carrots peeled, diced, grated and refrigerated for tomorrow.
chore #3: celery cleaned and ready to be diced for tomorrow (brian came home and so i didn't have time to dice because we went over to his mom's for dinner).
chore#4: chicken cooked, diced and refrigerated for tomorrow.
note: after we had eaten at Lynda's (Brian's mom) and we were hanging out on the couch Brian finally saw the crazy way Conan can make my tummy move. Conan kicked my left side and Brian saw my tummy punch out in one spot and was like "WHHOOOA!!" It was so gratifying because I had been trying to get him to see it all night and he kept missing it. Then for one second he happened to glance over and boom! Then before we came home Brian was nice enough to drive me to get Thrifty's ice cream because right now their Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream is so so yummy.
