Catching up.... It's been a while

Hey everyone!  Sorry it's been so long since I've properly blogged.... we've been a little busy to say the least.  The biggest news is I'M PREGNANT!  26 weeks already and typing along with swollen fingers - lovely.  It's another boy!  We're so excited to have two little boys!  Our life will be crazy.... oh wait it already is :)  I would post an ultra sound pic but he was super shy, the only good photos we have are the "boy bits" shots.  Those photos don't need to hit the blogisphere. 

We are pretty sure that we are going to name him Alexander Ray Brown.  I'm cool with telling people our name choice cuz I don't really care if people like it or not - my Grandma Ray likes it and that's all the approval I need!!! The middle name is to honour my mom's side of the family - I'm really close to them.  Zachary loves his Gma Ray so I'm sure Alexander will love her just as much as we do :)   Alexander is actually my Great Gpa Ray's name (and my Uncle Dave's middle name) but Brian came up with Alexander before we made that connection.  Still, I'm excited that my boys will both have a lot of family history in their names. 

My due date is Feb 3rd so if he comes early like Zach did (oh please come early....) he may actually be born in January.  We'll see what happens!!  This pregnancy is going really well.  My first trimester was during the summer and I would get really nauseous and headachy when I got hot (which was most of the time) so I stayed inside as much as I could.  I traveled to AZ during this time and did just fine because my family was so awesome and helpful to me and Zach when we were there.  I can feel Alex move but he is a settler.  He only moves when he needs to reposition and once he is in a comfortable spot he stops moving.   

I was actually pregnant at the same time with ALL of my sister in law's - super crazy!  I say was because Kim had baby Cameron four months ago, and Erin just had baby Gunner two weeks ago.  Krista is next and is having a girl; she is due at the very end of December.  Then I'm going to have the youngest of the bunch. 

Due to the new addition we will be adding soon we ended up looking for alternative vehicles instead of trying to fit two sized car seats in the back of my car and we ended up getting a 2007 Jeep Commander.  We LOVE it!  It has a built in DVD player - what more could Zachary ask for?!  It took me a while to get use to driving a big Jeep around instead of my zippy little car but now I can't image my life without it.

Other things that have been keeping us busy - traveling.  We've been to AZ twice, Montana, the coast and last weekend we were in Palm Springs.  Brian has been working night shifts which is 6pm - 6am.  So he gets home sleeps, wakes up by 4:30, eats and gets ready for work and is out the door by 5:15pm (so he can get a swigger from this one gas station that has the good styrofoam cups on his way into work).  But he is going to be going back to days this next schedule.   I'll have to learn how to be a good housewife again and have dinner ready when he gets home..... it's been so long since that's happened that it sounds weird.  Brian now just NEVER assumes he will be given dinner.  And our callings too.... family wards suck.
