1 YEAR OLD!!! Birthday Disneyland Trip

Driving down to LA to go to Disneyland!  Happy Birthday my little boy :)

For Zachary's birthday we went down to Disneyland.  My parents flew into LA and met us there.  We had so much fun!  Zachary probably didn't care that he was there, but he absolutely LOVED the food and was happy to be outside most of the time.  He wasn't really into the rides.... or the characters :)  Brian and I squeezed into the spaceship kid ride in Tomorrow Land with him and it freaked him out!  I was actually surprised, it went a little faster then I was expecting. 

Right before my parents got there Brian and I took Zach to meet Goofy.  He was staring at the characters and so I figured maybe he would want to meet one?  So we waited in line and then Brian took him up.  At first Zach was hesitant but reached to touch Goofy's hand, so Goofy reached back to pat either his head or back..... and WHOA!  Brian and I heard this blood curdling scream that has never came out of Zach before and he turned to Brian (this is the moment I caught in film) and tried to crawl up his torso and wrapped his arms around his neck and was holding onto him for dear life!  OH my gosh, Brian and I were laughing so hard I was crying.  Everyone in line was laughing too and saying "oh!"..... so we are kind parents and took him to see more characters.  hehehehe

We went to eat at the Blue Bayou for lunch (we just walked right in!!! that never happens... usually you can't even get in or you're on this huge waiting list.  It was a 1st birthday wish come true for Zach).  The kids menu were written on this awesome pirate hat... which as you can see he proudly wore.  So cute :)



They heard it was his bday so they brought him this absolutely divine chocolate mousse.  He scarfed that down in about 2 seconds.  He loved it!  I heart Disneyland :)

For dinner we went to my favorite place to eat in California Adventure - the Sourdough factory - I love love love the broccoli cheese soup in the bread bowl.  Zach loved it too!

Probably one of my absolute favorite photos of Zachary.  Having fun with his Grandpa.  This photo makes me laugh!  He is such a funny kid.

 

This is just a little cove in California Adventure (by the waterfall obviously) and zach for some reason kept putting his mouth on the rock face.  ?  He's weird like that.
