The latest cookies... Simple Snowflakes and High Heels

I'm making snowflake cookies for xmas this year so I did a trial run and tried out some other cookie decorating stuff to see how they would turn out. Amy benefited from this - I sent her the snowflakes. And I also made some cookies from Aubrie. I was in Montana when she was texting me about shoe shopping.... and I happened to find a cute cookie cutter.... so I made her some new shoes. I was using those shoes as a trial run too. I also put some small cookies in a big pill bottle so she could just throw them in her purse and have mobile sugar snaking where ever she went. Here is how they turned out. Remember these cookies were for practice..... so I didn't get fancy and they got sent off in ziplock bags. Not fancy at all.  Plus by the time they actually get the cookies in the mail they will probably be hard (I was going to send them this past weekend but the garage sale bogged me down).

this is a simplified version.  the large snowflakes will have detailed decoration on them when I do cookies for xmas.

This was my favorite - it reminded me of Holly Golightly

you can't tell but these were actually really really light baby blue not white and had edible glitter on them - i wanted them to look like cinderella's glass slipper :)

the "not steve" name tag was a roommate joke between aubrie, leah and i because of a hilarious movie we saw together.
