my eggo is preggo

all right i went to my first baby doc appointment yesterday so i finally feel ok about blogging about this - i'm pregnant! 12 weeks pregnant to be exact. yesterday brian and i went to the ob and they did an ultra sound. we heard the heartbeat and above is our baby's first picture. we have 2 but this one was a little better. my due date is april 14th. we will find out the sex at thanksgiving time.

the first picture has 3 pregnancy test because brian was like well.... the first one is faint (there was a plus sign it's just hard to tell in the photo) so he made me take two more that he brought home from the hospital. those kind i had to pee in a cup and nurse brown used the little pee baster looking thing to put the urine on there himself. and was like yep... if you were my patient i'd have to mark on your chart that you're pregnant. we were a little shocked - him more so hence the 3 prego tests. i already knew. that just confirmed it.

it's crazy that i'm pregnant but going to the doctor yesterday made it a lot more real. i'm not showing yet but i unfortunately gained a little weight already. and i've had a really good pregnancy compared to other people. i haven't puked once. i'm lucky. so there's our big news!
