so let talk about the cost of living in california. i have already told most of you how there is an extra charge on all plastic bottles, aluminum cans, etc. well that is to give all california an incentive to recycle. even though.... we recycled and didn't get all of that money back. if you look on a bottle an it says CA Redemption - that's what i'm talking about. it sucks for brian and i because we're such pop drinkers. we ran out weeks ago and i didn't have money to buy more pop so we just didn't have any in our fridge and i was slowing being winged off purely because i didn't have any money (my husband has to give me an allowance....). so i decided to try to stop drinking it and i've done really well. BUT today i just really wanted the cold fizzz fix... so i run to my local 7/11 store which is a stapel to all californian's. i remember 7/11's from when i was a kid in souther cali.... but in arizona they're ghetto so no one goes. well they're ghetto here to.... but let's face it. all of cali is pretty ghetto. i don't know what it is but not a single person (except me of course) that walks into that 7/11 wears deodorant. gross! and whats even worse is that inflation totally effects swiggers too! SERIOUSLY! my super big gulp cost $1.99!! that's right everyone - a penny shy of 2 DOLLARS! i miss QT so much :(
