Zach loves the Corvair - no kidding.  He will sit in there forever while the boys are out in the garage working on it.

please note the time on the clock - that was early.... i was up almost all night finishing those cookies

on the way there my father-in-law lost on axle... on the freeway. scary. everyone was fine but his wagon got beat up and towed the rest of the way to palm spring.  best place to fix up a corvair is a corvair car show.  they got all the parts and fixed it up all right there in the parking lot of the show.

here are my cookies (the spider didn't travel well... it oozed onto the package).  i sold 3 - bummer. we didn't get a vendor booth like i thought we were going to so my cute cookie sat on a tiny little fold out table that no one saw.

this was by far the coolest thing i saw in one of the corvairs at the show.  each door had a swigger holder!!  I told Brian we are definitely putting those in the Scout.

When I'm old, this is what I'm going to drive.

This is what a car show is like.  There are our groups' crovairs and our little tented up seating area.  Everyone likes to be close to the cars because then you chat it up with the people lookin' at your car and also get to ease drop on what they are saying about it.  We had lots of admirers but we didn't win.  BOOOO!
